Mayo Culture Night 2025 was launched in The Mall in Castlebar
Mayo will be buzzing with activity on Friday, September 20 as Culture Night gets underway throughout the county.
Culture Night which is an all-island public event takes place each year on the second last Friday of September and celebrates culture, creativity and the arts and seeks to actively promote the belief that this rich and varied culture is alive, treasured and nurtured in people’s lives, today and every day.
Among the events making up this year’s programme are a range of multicultural events, traditional music and craft events, film screenings, art workshops, DJ sets and more.
Living up to its theme of One Night For All, Culture Night really has something for everyone. The programme for Culture Night 2024 in Mayo was launched on Wednesday with a photocall for event organisers, local councillors and Mayo County Council staff, and other stakeholders on the Mall in Castlebar.
Culture Night is strategically funded by Mayo County Council and the Arts Council of Ireland and is supported by Creative Ireland and participating groups and venues in Mayo.
