Walsh co-wrote 'Domestic Violence – Law and Practice in Ireland’
A Ballinrobe native has published a book on the domestic violence law in Ireland.
Dublin-based solicitor, Keith Walsh, co-authored ‘Domestic Violence – Law and Practice in Ireland’, which was launched by the Attorney General, Rossa Fanning.
Mr Walsh qualified as a solicitor in 2001 and has become the pre-eminent advocate in the country on divorce and family law. He is a regular media commentator on legal issues of public debate.
The new book provides a comprehensive overview of the Domestic Violence Act 2018, with analysis of all measures contained in the Act and procedural developments. It explores the related criminal legislation concerning victims of crime, as well as other legislation dealing with related offences.
