A Mayo-based fintech company has added Deloitte to its growing list of clients.
In what represents a major deal for the Westport company, Payslip have will become the company’s Global Payroll Services technology provider.
Deloitte, who are one of the world’s leading financial services companies, produces six million payslips a year to its half a million customer employees which will now be delivered solely in electronic form via Payslip’s platform.
Founded in 2016, Payslip now includes Booking.com, GetYourGuide, Teamwork, Fyffes, and C&D Foods among it clientele.
“This Deloitte-Payslip alliance represents a significant disruptive shift in the Global Payroll Market,” Fidelma McGuirk, Payslip Founder and CEO said.
“Payslip is excited about the alliance with Deloitte, anticipating a transformative impact on the market by offering global companies greater choices and delivering compliance services in an agile, transparent manner on a global scale,” she added.
Deloitte Global Payroll Operate Services Leaders John Dorff (Deloitte Japan) and Nathan Male (Deloitte UK), in a joint statement said their alliance with Payslip would allow them to ‘deliver exceptional service and technology in international payroll management’.
Westport-based TD Michael Ring told The Mayo News that he was ‘delighted’ to learn of the deal between Payslip and Deloitte.
“Any jobs that we can get into Westport and Mayo are brilliant. I wish them well [I’m] delighted with the news and it’s good news for Westport,” Deputy Ring said.
