The cast of Sacred Heart School's and Rice College's production of High School Musical Jr on Monday evening
A production of High School Musical Jr that was due to be staged by Rice College and the Sacred Heart School has been cancelled due to Storm Jocelyn.
In a statement on Facebook, Sacred Heart School Westport announced that this evening’s (Tuesday) show was cancelled to due the ongoing orange weather warning in place for Mayo.
An extra show has been scheduled for Thursday evening while all tickets purchased for the Tuesday show will be honoured on Thursday night.
Tomorrow evening’s show (Wednesday, January 24) will still go ahead at 7.30pm in the Sacred Heart School gymnasium, as will the primary school matinee at 10.30am.
Tickets are still available for both shows and from Rice College and the Sacred Heart School.
One-hundred-and-seventy-four’s students from both schools are involved in the show, which was staged before audiences yesterday (Monday).
