A woman who died in a three-vehicle collision between Ballindine and Milltown on Tuesday morning as been named as Teresa Sweeney from Kiltimagh.
Teresa, who was in her 80s, died following a collision between a van and two cars on a stretch of road five kilometres south of Ballindine near Milltown in Co Galway.
The driver of the car she was travelling in, a woman in 40s, was injured during the collision while another male driver in his 50s sustained serious injuries and required hospitalisation.

Teresa was predeceased by her husband Paddy, sister Mary, brothers Mick and John. She is deeply regretted by her loving daughter Margaret, son in law Jerome, her sisters Peg Loftus (Sligo), Anne Caestecker (USA), her brothers Andy (Ballymote), Jimmy (Aclare), brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours & friends.
She will repose in O'Hora's Funeral Home, Kiltimagh F12 Y1F7 on Friday evening from 6pm until 8pm, arriving in the Church of the Holy Family, Kiltimagh at 8.15pm.
Funeral Mass will be followed on Saturday at 12 noon followed by Cremation in Shannon Crematorium. No flowers please.
