The Christmas lights will be switched on in Westport this Friday.
The switching on of the Christmas Lights in Westport will take place this Friday, December 1, at 5pm at the Clock in Westport.
The Westport Town Hall Community Choir will provide carol singing at the event and a blessing will take place beforehand courtesy of Fr John Kenny, ADM, and Reverend Suzanne Cousins. The lights will be switched on by members of Western Care Carrowbeg Enterprises. All are welcome to attend but please do wrap up as temperatures are expected to be on the chilly side.
