Mayo Roscommon Hospice Foundation have officially launched their Christmas cards for 2023, with CEO Martina Jennings and singer John McNicholl performing the honours. Total Health Pharmacies are the sponsor for the Christmas cards each year and the hospice are very grateful to them for the support.

The Christmas cards are available in all Total Health pharmacies in Mayo and Roscommon plus in the 12 Hospice Shops and also online at hospice.ie. John will also be singing at a tree lighting ceremony on Sunday next, December 3, at 6pm at the Plaza in Knock, following The Memorial Walk at 5pm around Knock.

Since its inception, the Mayo Roscommon Hospice Foundation has been dedicated to funding, supporting, developing and providing palliative care services to individuals and their families facing life-limiting illnesses. Since 1993, the organisation has offered vital palliative care services, hospice care, and support to over 20,000 patients and their families in the Mayo and Roscommon regions.

Martina Jennings, CEO of Mayo Roscommon Hospice Foundation, said:

“By buying our Christmas cards, you are supporting the work that we do at Mayo Roscommon Hospice Foundation. That is, ensuring patients with life limiting illnesses from Mayo and Roscommon have the best possible facilities, where they can be cared for with dignity and respect and that their families also receive the support they require. All of the funds raised throughout this event will go towards sustaining and expanding these vital services in our hospices and the community.”
