The road between Ballinrobe and Westport has been closed for the second time today due to a road traffic accident.
An accident occurred about a mile and a half from Westport town on the R330 this afternoon. Emergency services attended at the scene and the road was closed for a period, before a stop/go system was put in place. No serious injuries have been reported.
Earlier this morning, there was a two vehicle collision on the N84 road between Partry and Ballinrobe at Keel Bridge. The road was closed for a period but reopened shortly after 10am. There were no reports of any serious injuries.
