Teen reported missing on Achill Island

Sebastian Palma (18) has been missing on Achill Island since Friday evening

A SEARCH is taking place on Achill Island for a missing teenager who was last seen on the island on Friday evening.

Eighteen-year-old Sebastian Palma, who was on holiday on Achill Island has been missing since yesterday evening when he was last seen in the village of Dooagh at around 5.30pm. The alarm was raised by family members when he failed to return to the house he was staying in Dooagh. A search of the area is currently taking place involving members of the Achill Island Coast Guard unit, members of the community and the Coast Guard rescue helicopter R118.

The missing teen is described as being five foot five inches in height with brown hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing jeans, a black jacket and black hat.

Anyone with any information on Sebastian is asked to contact Westport Garda Station on 098 50230.
