A MOTHER and her four children who were reported missing by Gardaí have been located safe and well.
An Garda Síochána confirmed on Friday evening that 32-year-old Martina Ward from Ballaghaderreen and her four children Charlie Carthy (5), Edward Carthy (4), Tom Carthy (2) and ten-month-old Emily Carthy 'have been located safe and well.
Gardaí issued an appeal on Thursday afternoon seeking the public's assistance in tracing the whereabouts of Martina Ward and her four children who were missing from their home in Ballaghaderreen, Co Roscommon since Wednesday, June 28, 2023.
They were last seen on Main Street, Swords on the afternoon of Wednesday, July 5 and Gardaí expressed ongoing concerns for the well-being of Martina and her four children.
However, Gardaí issued a fresh statement on Friday evening stating that all five individuals have been located and wish to thank the media and the public for their assistance.
