A book of evidence was served last Friday against the Balla man charged with the murder of Francis ‘Frankie’ Heneghan, who was stabbed to death in Kiltimagh last August.
Fintan McKenna, 20 Woodlands, Balla (23) is charged with the murder of Frankie Heneghan from Ballyheane, Castlebar, who died from multiple stab wounds after an incident in the early hours of August 12 last, just off Main Street in Kiltimagh.
Mr McKenna was first charged with the murder a matter of days following the stabbing and has been in custody since then. He was again remanded in custody to appear before the next sitting of the Circuit Criminal Court in January.
