Gardaí are investigating an aggravated robbery at The Rendezvous Bar in Balla last Thursday
Gardaí are investigating an aggravated robbery in a pub in Balla last Thursday.
Four men entered The Rendezvous Bar in the town and stole the contents of the safe, cash register and money from a fruit machine. A substantial amount of money was taken.
The leasee of the premises was assaulted during the robbery and hospitalised with his injuries. He was released from hospital on Thursday afternoon.
Anyone who noticed anything suspicious on the night is asked to contact Castlebar Garda Station on 094 9022222.
