A male has been brought to hospital following a two car collision outside Ballinrobe this morning.

A MALE has been brought to hospital following a two car collision outside Ballinrobe this morning (Friday).
The collision occurred on the N84 main Castlebar to Galway road outside Ballinrobe, around the area known locally as Creagh gates [back gates] on the Castlebar Road.
The male was brought to Mayo University Hospital and his condition is not yet known.
The collision took place at approximately 10am and the road was closed for a period of time but it has now reopened.
