Castlebar’s TF Hotel to change hands

The running of the TF Hotel, Royal Theatre and Harlequin Hotel is to change hands this evening.
The PREM Group will take over the running of the famous Castlebar venue at 5.30pm this evening.
The PREM Group are receiver appointed and will take over the running of the complex from Mr Seamus Sutcliffe, who ran operations in recent years. 
The Mayo News understands that there are issues outstanding between Mr Sutcliffe and the receivers for the complex. 
Mr Joe O’Dea, formerly Manager of the Welcome Inn Hotel, has been managing the TF Hotel in recent weeks and it is understood that he will remain in that position under new operators. 
Currently the Royal Theatre at the complex is closed.
There were court challenges by the Jennings family, who owned and managed the complex for two generations, against the receivership in 2012. 
The PREM Hotel Group are an Irish company which run over 40 hotels across Europe, seventeen of which are now in Ireland. Among their properties is the McWilliam Park Hotel in Claremorris. The PREM group was formed in 1989 by a group of Aer Lingus pilots.
