The man who died as a result of an accident in a quarry in Kilkelly on Thursday morning has been named.
Joseph (Joe) Harrington, aged 27, died after an accident involving a crusher at Harrington’s Quarry in Kilkelly at approximately 10.20am on Thursday. Joseph was from Sonnagh near Charlestown.
Gardaí and the Health and Safety Authority (HSA) are investigating the circumstances of the fatality. No funeral arrangements have yet been announced.
