A man is due to appear in court tomorrow (Wednesday) charged with criminal damage and a public order breach after being caught writing his feelings about An Taoiseach Enda Kenny on the Taoiseach’s Castlebar office wall.
Gardaí came on the scene at Tucker Street, Castlebar at approximately 4am on Saturday morning last.
By that stage an information sign beside the door into the Taoiseach’s constituency office had been pulled down and the unhappy constituent was in the process of penning his feelings in permanent marker on the wall.
The man identified himself in the graffiti.
“____ ____ took your sign,” he wrote. “Go sue me you tratyer (sic) basicly (sic) you [are a] puppet for the privitisation of our country We get it you”. He was still writing this last sentence when he was apprehended by gardaí.
The word ‘tratyer’ was crossed out.
The man, aged in his early 30s, will appear before Castlebar District Court tomorrow (Wednesday) in relation to the charges of criminal damage and a public order breach.
