Club Stars auction on Mid West on Sunday

IF you’ve got an hour to spare next weekend, have an interest in securing tickets for some major sporting events next year, and would like to help us to raise funds for our Club Stars charity this year, ‘Enable Ireland’, then tune into Mid West Radio between 3pm and 4pm next Sunday afternoon.
We’re joining forces with our friends at the region’s biggest radio station to hold a fund-raising auction, with all proceeds from the event going to Enable Ireland services in Mayo.
Among the items up for grabs will be a pair of tickets to a Manchester Utd Premier League match at Old Trafford, plus two return flights from Knock to Manchester, two tickets to an Ireland Rugby International in the 2014 Six Nations Championship, an AIB All-Ireland Club Finals package, which includes match tickets, a pre-match lunch, and an overnight stay in a Dublin hotel next March 17, and a signed Mayo Minor jersey, courtesy of the 2013 All-Ireland champions. Plus much more!
The Sunday Sports Show is being hosted by Michael D McAndrew next weekend, and he’ll be talking to the Club Stars banquet special guest, Darragh Ó Sé, to set the scene ahead of our big awards night on Saturday, December 7.
Club Stars judge, and former Mayo GAA star, John Casey, will also be talking about the highs and lows of the GAA season, and looking ahead to the biggest awards night of the year.
For more information on this year’s Club Stars Banquet, or to order tickets, call The Mayo News office on (098) 25311.
