The Mayo News is organising an evening with some of Ireland’s best sports writers on Thursday, May 31 at 8pm in Days Hotel, Castlebar and anyone aged 16 and over is invited to attend. Speakers on the evening will be Liam Horan (former GAA correspondent with the Irish Independent), Shane McGrath (Irish Daily Mail) and Keith Duggan (The Irish Times). Mayo’s fastest growing newspaper has the most comprehensive sports supplement in the region and would like to invite you to join us to hear about writing a match report, the art of the interview and sports feature writing. A question and answer session will also take place. A limited number of places are on offer so booking in advance is required.
