Mayo v Galway - live Connacht Minor Final commentary this Sunday

If you can’t make it to the Connacht Final in Castlebar next Sunday, but still want to know how the Mayo minor footballers are getting on, then The Mayo News website is the place to be. Our roving reporter, Rob Murphy, will be in situ at McHale Park, bringing you instant updates from the provincial final between Mayo and Galway so you won’t miss a fraction of the action. Rob’s live ‘text commentary’ starts around 1pm (thirty minutes before throw-in) and will bring you a flavour of Connacht Final day no matter where you are around the county, country or globe. “We’re committed to providing our online audience with the best sports coverage every day of the week,” said Mike Finnerty, Sports Editor, The Mayo News. “And Sunday is no exception. “We’re very conscious that a lot of Mayo people are scattered all around the world and would love to be in Castlebar next weekend, but we’ll try to be their eyes and ears for the Minor Final. Hopefully, we’ll have nothing but good news to report — from a Mayo perspective! “We’d like to invite anybody who intends to follow our live coverage to get in touch over the next few days via sport@mayonews.ie and we can give them a ‘shout out’ on Sunday. We’d also love to see your comments during and after the game and we’ll publish them in our coverage," he said. The Mayo News team will also be filing a full-time match report on Sunday evening and posting after-match reaction on Monday morning.
