ELECTION CHANCES: In 2020, the Green Party ran Saoirse McHugh in Mayo where she secured over 4,000 first preference votes but 'Boxty' won't come close to that figure. Climate change has slipped down the list of priorities of this election and as a result the Greens are likely to struggle. 'Boxty' ran unsuccessfully in the local elections in the Belmullet Electoral Area and if he gets close to 1,000 votes it will be a success for him and the Greens in Mayo.
