The Ballintubber battler was used sparingly throughout the league, but was thrown in for the heat of championship by his bainisteoir.
Had a big part in driving the men from the West up the turf, and clipped over a first-half two-pointer for good measure.
Made way for Stephen Coen with 59 minutes played, having shown well as his team secured their last-four berth.
