PLAYER RATINGS: How the Mayo players fared against London

Many will raise question marks over the calibre of the opposition, but the cliché of 'you can only beat what's in front of you' is apt in this instance.

Championship debuts for Cian McHale and Hugh O'Loughlin gave both even more invaluable minutes with what's coming down the tracks, and minutes for the likes of Cillian O'Connor and Tommy Conroy as they look to build up a head of steam are important.

Some will also say that youngersters such as Conal Dawson and Sean Morahan might have got game time, but on the whole, it's hard to poke holes in a win of this margin.
