Mayo minor team announced for Connacht championship opener

Mayo minor manager Diarmuid Byrne has named his side ahead of this evening’s opening round of the Connacht Championship.

The Castlebar man has named Crossmolina’s Eanna O’Boyle as captain for the season while Ballintubber’s Adam Burton and Westport’s Fiachra O’Cinnseals are named as joint vice captains. 

The Mayo team to face Leitrim in Carrick on Shannon this evening is as follows: 

Rowan McLoughlin (Westport); Tadgh Kearney (Castlebar Mitchels), Eanna O’Boyle (Crossmolina), Harry Dooney (Ballaghaderreen); Brian Joyce (Shrule/Glencorrib), Adam Jennings (Balla), Alexander Smyth (Ballycastle); Conor Hoban (Ballintubber), Darragh Connor (Breaffy); Adam Burton (Ballintubber), Evan Heneghan (Mayo Gaels), John Jennings (Eastern Gaels); Charlie Fallon (Mayo Gaels), Fiachra O’Cinnseala (Westport), Aidan Brogan (Claremorris).
