Sunday’s rampant win over Roscommon in MacHale Park was the ideal ending for what has been, on the whole, a solid National League campaign for Mayo.
The closing match of the Division One league campaign saw the Green and Red come within a scintilla of the Croke Park decider, but other results saw Andy Moran’s men miss out.
