Mayo bainisteoir Andy Moran has selected his starting team to face Roscommon in Round Seven of the National League.

The Green and Red welcome their nearest and dearest Connacht neighbours to MacHale Park on Sunday with a potential berth in the Division One final on the line.

Both Moran and the man in the away dugout, Mark Dowd, will also see this as a chance to lay down a marker ahead of the potential meeting of the sides in the Connacht Championship.

Roscommon are looking to build on a win over Donegal, while bouncing back from a loss to Kerry is the objective for the hosts.

With all those objectives in mind, Moran has elected to make a whopping eight changes to the side from last weekend.

Kobe McDonald, Fergal Boland, Darragh Beirne, Bob Tuohy, Conal Dawson, Diarmuid O'Connor, Donnacha McHugh, and Rob Hennelly, drop out of the side, with Jack Livingstone, Hugh O’Loughlin (both league debutants), Diarmuid Duffy, Michael Plunkett, Seamus Howard, Cian McHale, Aidan O’Shea, and Paul Towey making their way into the starting team for the derby-day duel.

The Mayo team is as follows. Throw-in in MacHale Park is at 3.30 pm.

Mayo: Jack Livingstone; Jack Coyne, Rory Brickenden, Diarmuid Duffy; Sam Callinan, Michael Plunkett, Hugh O’Loughlin; Seamus Howard, David McBrien; Jack Carney, Ryan O’Donoghue, Jordan Flynn; Cian McHale, Aidan O’Shea, Paul Towey.
