The dates and time for Mayo's National Football League fixtures have been announced. The Green and Red will play four games away from home and three in Castlebar. Six of the matches will take place on Sundays with one Saturday evening game against Kerry in Tralee.
On Sunday, January 25, Mayo will take on Galway in Pearse Stadium with a 1.45pm throw-in. Seven days later, the home side will hope for a big crowd in Hastings Insurance MacHale Park when Dublin come to town in the second round. The game will begin at 1.30pm.
The third round of games takes Mayo to Letterkenny on Sunday, February 15 for a game against Donegal at 1.45pm. The following Sunday, Andy Moran will take the Green and Red to Clones, a venue he knows well after a stint coaching Monaghan, for an eagerly-anticipated contest at 1.45pm.
On the first day of March, Mayo will back in Castlebar to face 2024 All-Ireland champions, Armagh, in what could be a hugely interesting battle at 1.15pm.
Mayo's only Saturday evening match will take place in Austin Stack, Tralee on March 14 when the encounter with the reigning All-Ireland champions begins at 4pm.
The seventh and final round of the league takes place on Sunday, March 22 and Mayo will be back in Castlebar for a 3.30pm start against Connacht rivals Roscommon. This may be a prelude to the sides meeting again later in the season if Mayo defeat London and Roscommon get the better of New York.
