The GAA clubs of Mayo will gather on Sunday in St John's Centre, Knock, for the annual convention.

There will be little change at the top table with the majority of County Board roles remaining unchanged apart from the Communications Officer.

The following roles will remain unchanged for next year: Chairperson, Seamus Tuohy; Vice Chairperson, Michael Diskin; Secretary, Ronan Kirrane; Assistant Secretary, Brian O’Malley; Treasurer, Valerie Murphy and Assistant Treasurer, Sinead McLoughlin.

John Walker, the current Communications Officer, will not be looking for another term, and that means Paul Cunnane of Davitts will fill the role, as he is the only person nominated for the position.

The Coaching Officer position will remain unchanged, with Seamus Smyth continuing in his role.

The Central Council delegate role will be retained by Con Moynihan, while the only contest will take place for the two Connacht Council positions. Liam Moffatt, Paddy McNicholas and John Walker will duke it out for the two spots.

The following roles are set to become vacant and are to be filled: Planning and Training Officer, Safety Officer, Cultural Officer, Health and Wellbeing Officer, Children’s Officer, Demographics Officer, and Hurling Chairperson.
