Many Mayo eyes will be keeping an interested eye on Maguire's Pitch at the University of Limerick this evening, with eleven men from this neck of the woods across the UL and University of Galway sides locking horns in the Higher Education Senior 1 League Final.
Both sides will meet in what promises to be a tantalising clash between the two universities.

On one hand, Dara Hurley of Claremorris, Aghamore's Tom O'Flaherty, and John MacMonagle (Castlebar Mitchels) will don the maroon of University of Galway. Maurice Sheridan, who wore the Green and Red for many years, will don the bainisteoir bib for the Corribsiders.
The side waiting to lock horns with those travelling down the M18 has even more Mayo influence. Moy Davitts pair Cian, and Colm McHale are on the panel, as is Kilmaine's Hugh O'Loughlin and Conal Dawson of Westport.
Sean Morahan will come up against Mitchels team-mate John MacMonagle while Davitts pair Dylan O'Brien and Jack Melvin are also involved as well as Eastern Gaels attacker Senan Guilfoyle. Garrymore's Eoin McGreal and Cathal Keaveney of Parke-KC will have to cheer on their UL comrades from the sidelines as they miss out through injury.
