Paul Durcan in action for Donegal against Mayo in the 2012 All-Ireland SFC final
Paul Durcan has joined up with Andy Moran at Mayo and will act as the Connacht side’s new goalkeeping coach.
The 2012 All-Ireland winner had previously worked under Tony McEntee at Sligo, where current Donegal selector Colm McFadden was also involved at that time.
Moran has also managed to coax Rob Hennelly, Cillian O’Connor, and James Carr back into the mix ahead of the new season.
Moran and Durcan are friends from their days at Sligo IT where they won the Sigerson Cup together in 2005.
Donegal Town native Durcan will work alongside head coach Paddy Tally and coach-selector Colm Boyle.
Mayo will begin their 2026 campaign on the weekend of January 24/25 with an away clash against Galway in Division 1 of the National Football League.
