With yesterday's thrilling Mayo Senior Championship final between Westport and Ballina Stephenites firmly disappearing into the rear-view mirror, the details of Saturday evening's replay are coming into clearer focus.
One day after yesterday's drawn decider, Mayo GAA have announced that James Regan, from Hollymount-Carramore, has been handed the task of officiating the replay.
Regan has had plenty of experience playing the game before taking the whistle in his grasp. In 1994, for instance, he tasted Hogan Cup glory with Saint Jarlath's College as well as earning a Senior title with Hollymount.
The former Mayo minor also captained Hollymount and Hollymount-Carramore.
The standby referee on the day is Regan's fellow clubman, Kevin Connelly. The linesman will be Claremorris man John Brennan.
The Neale's Martin Kennedy will be fourth official.
