Kilmeena showed great resilience to come from behind in the second half when victory for The Neale seemed imminent.

It was the young defender Luke Durkan who made some crucial interceptions at a pivotal stage in the second half. At important moments, he defended bravely.

Darragh Keaveney was on target, scoring 1-3, also John McGlynn's tally of 0-5 was a huge contribution.

Caolach Halligan made an impressive impact from the Kilmeena bench. 

Kilmeena were well positioned to top their group after two wins from two ahead of their final match against Cill Chomáin to decide on a possible home quarter-final.
