Draw confirmed for Mayo's first games of  the 2026 season

Mayo and Sligo will clash in Round One of the 2026 FBD League, and will also play Roscommon in the competition

Mayo fans will not have to wait long in 2026 to see Andy Moran's first game in charge of the county, as the draw for the upcoming FBD League campaign have has been made.

Moran will be preparing in earnest for the upcoming campaign in which he will be hoping to improve the fortunes of the side he served with distinction in his playing career.

The Ballaghaderreen man will likely see the return of the pre-season competition as a valuable outlet to test out some of his tactics, as well as bringing some new faces into the fold.

On the weekend of January 3/4, Mayo have been drawn to face Sligo in Round One.

One weekend later, Mayo will face the Rossies.

The top two sides will advance to the FBD Cup final, the third and fourth placed teams will enter the FBD Shield final, while the sides who finish fifth and sixth will play out the FBD Plate Final.

Those games will take place on the weekend of January 17/18.
