Niall McManamon vs Evan Regan
Anyone who has been following Mayo football knows that Evan Regan is one of the best forwards in the County. The new rules have been working wonders for the Ballina attacker as he has made hay in the scoring department, although he was held scoreless from open play in the semi-final win against Knockmore.
The man who will more than likely try and halt Regan’s performance will be Wesport’s Niall McManamon, who is a real tigerish, no-nonsense defender.
He’s not called glue for nothing, and if he is to keep the Ballina captain quiet, Westport will have a massive chance of claiming glory.
