It all comes down to this.

Ballina, chasing the three-in-a-row, enter the final with calm assurance. After three recent county final appearances, they’ve learned how to handle the pressure and grind out wins when it matters most. I expect them to control the tempo and back their structure in the big moments.

But Westport are a serious outfit with depth in their squad. They’ve quietly built momentum through the championship, growing in belief with every round.

Their athleticism, depth, and refusal to lie down make them a dangerous outfit, and the kind that thrives when the odds are against them.

This is a clash of know-how versus hunger. If Ballina impose their game early, they’ll be hard to reel in. But if Westport keep it close heading into the final quarter, don’t be surprised if they spring an upset.

I’d say Ballina will edge it, but only just.
