Midfield battle

In the current modern game, it’s more important than ever to have a solid midfield partnership. On Sunday, Kilmeena’s Jack Carney and Kevin Ryder will face off against Kiltane’s Liam Donoghue and John Ginty.

In particular the battle between Carney and Donoghue will be crucial in this meeting as the Kiltane man has been hugely impressive in the championship so far. Carney on the other hand is the man who makes the 2023 champions tick. A steady consistent player, the question is, can Donoghue rise and edge the battle with the county man?
