Exciting youth versus physical power

Brian Benson’s Crossmolina side are lighting up this year’s championship as they have taken on the jump to the senior grade with great positivity.

With five minors playing crucial roles, it’s clear that the All-Ireland intermediate champions are a team packed with an abundance of talent, from Sean Óg Mc Guinness to Dylan Flynn to Oisin Deane, the Deel Rovers have it from defence to attack.

The question is, can that youthful energy cope with the sheer power of Westport?

The likes of Brian McDermott, Eoghan McLaughlin, Lee Keegan, and Kevin Keane are all hugely physical players, and one would assume that there will be an almighty battle on Saturday when these two sides meet.
