The midfield battle

Mikey Murray, Dylan Thornton, and the Irwin brothers, Jack and Frank, are big players around the middle area for the Stephenites.

Tall, physical players who are all fantastic fielders of the ball up against Knockmore’s finest.

Connell Dempsey, Pearse Ruttledge, and Kevin McLoughlin are fine players, but when it comes to the sheer power and physicality, it looks like Ballina have more in the tank.

If Knockmore are to have success in the middle, players like Oliver Armstrong and Shane McHale, who is returning from a long-term injury, may boost Ray Dempsey's team.

The battlefield in the middle area will have a huge say on who comes away from St Tiernan’s Park victorious.
