Parke v Swinford Killasser
Saturday, October 4, in MacHale Park at 2:15 pm
East Mayo v West Mayo, an interesting clash should be played out here between two teams packed with skill, dynamite, and talent.
The Swinford Killasser side are just down from Intermediate, and one would have to say they are fancied to bounce right back up.
Parke, on the other hand, are an exciting young team.
They have plenty of players who have worn the green and red jersey at underage grades in recent years.
The team managed by Harry Flynn overcame West Mayo rivals Balla in the semi by just four points, while the girls from Swinford Amenity Park progressed into the decider with an emphatic victory over last year’s finalists, St Brigid’s.
Team captain Niamh Casey has been impressive all season, and she will take watching on the turf in MacHale Park.
However, with more experience on their side, one slightly favours Swinford Killasser here
The East Mayo side have been operating at Intermediate grade for plenty of seasons gone by, and they can use that to their advantage.
However, Parke are no mugs, and a competitive game should be played out.
VERDICT: SWINFORD KILLASSER
