This afternoon, one contender will fall by the wayside in the Mayo Intermediate Championship, while one will stand one hour from punching their ticket to Senior football.
Kilmeena are aiming to make their stay in Intermediate a short one, while Kiltane are dying to secure that sweet oasis as well as hoisting the Sweeney Cup aloft.
The clash in Saint Joseph's Park, Knockmore, throws in at 1.30 pm today (Sunday, October 12).
The game is one of two being shown on Mayo GAA TV today, with Ardanree Sarsfields v Moy Davitts (4 pm) also being streamed.
