A meeting of Mayo GAA's Competition Controls Committee has thrown out Hollymount Carramore's objection to the result of last Friday night's intermediate championship match with Kilmaine.
The ruling states that the meeting decided the objection was not upheld and went on to give their reasoning for the decision.
"We are satisfied that the score he (referee, Declan Corcoran) allowed was recorded correctly in accordance with rule 7.5 n (ii).
It's expected that Hollymount Carramore will now appeal that ruling to Croke Park, leaving next weekend's intermediate quarter-final with Kilmeena in doubt.
