2: JOHN MAC MONAGLE (Castlebar Mitchels)
Kevin Filan's charges needed a big performance to try and advance to the knockout stages and they got it with Mac Monagle to the fore at the heart of the defence.
This year's Mayo U-20 captain produced yet another solid performance while also kicking a fine point. The man they call JohnMac is certainly a player to watch going forward for the green and red.
