One Mayo man recorded a moment of history when he scored his first goal in the Australian Football League (AFL). Kilmaine native Oisin Mullin scored his first ever six-pointer in the quarter final game for Geelong against the Brisbane Lions.
Mullin started the game as a substitute while entering the field early, the former Mayo player made a huge impact. The game started at 10.40am (Irish time) while Geelong ran out impressive winners 112-74.
