PERMUTATIONS: Who advances and who risks drop in Mayo SFC

The final round of fixtures in the Mayo GAA Senior Football Championship could produce some crackers.

With one round left to play in the Mayo Senior Football Championship, there is still plenty to play for, with only two positions guaranteed across each four groups, while no side is guaranteed to top their respective group at this stage.

Here, we'll go through every twist and turn on the final day, from the sides who could be punching their tickets to the knockout rounds, to those who could end the day mired in the mad scramble to avoid the odious trapdoor to Intermediate football.

It is worth noting that in the event where a head-to-head cannot be used to determine who will progress (i.e when the teams level on points drew when they played each other or three sides finish level on points), the side who has the highest total scores for will be used to determine the positioning of sides.
