Mayo man set to referee on All-Ireland ladies final day

A Mayo man will be in the centre of the action on LGFA All-Ireland Football Championships final day, as Kevin Corcoran has been selected to referee the All-Ireland junior final.

Corcoran, from the Islandeady club, has plenty of inter-county experience, which he'll be hoping will stand to him from throw-in at 11.45am on Sunday, August 3, in Croke Park.

The seasoned whistler has taken charge of the decider twice previously. In 2017, he was in the middle for the replay meeting of Derry and Fermanagh in Clones, while he also took charge of the final between Antrim and Fermanagh in 2022.

This year, he'll be hoping for an assured performance as both Louth and Antrim aim for their fourth ever West County Hotel Cup.
