Brian Finn has called time on his stint as Mayo Under-20 hurling manager.

Finn had been overseeing the brightest young talents at the age grade in the county for the last three years, having taken the job on in the wake of the departure of Dave McConn and Tom Phillips in 2023.

That journey has now come to an end, with Finn not seeking another season at the helm.

Mayo GAA’s Chairman, Seamus Tuohy, expressed his thanks for the dedication of the Tooreen man.

“I would like to thank Brian and his backroom team for all the work and time they gave to Mayo hurling and, in particular, the way they developed so many new players that have gone on to represent the Mayo senior hurling team with great distinction,” he stated.

The Mayo GAA Hurling Chairman, Sean Ó Raghallaigh, echoed those sentiments.

“Brian Finn is a brilliant ambassador for club and county hurling, and I want to thank him for his leadership, vision, and commitment,” said Ó Raghallaigh  “He is a true hurling man, I am sure Brian will continue to promote the game in his club and within Mayo in the years to come.”
