The club wrote on their social media: "Meanwhile, we have begun demolishing our spectator stand in preparation for a new-build 168-seater covered stand sponsored by Dawn Meats.

We are truly grateful to our Club Grounds sponsor Dawn Meats who have entered into a renewed naming rights agreement with Ballyhaunis GAA and we look forward to opening our new stand on Friday 22nd August prior to throw-in of our Senior Men's Football Championship Round 2 match with Garrymore."

We wish to thank all the club officers who continue to work tirelessly on the club grounds development and we look forward to further enhancing our facilities for players and spectators. Special thanks to Padraic Murphy, Grounds Manager, and our Finance Committee who have overseen much of this work to date.
