There are strong Mayo connections to a number of clubs in the city, with John McBride's and Parnells particularly prominent.

The Mayo News understands that Conal Dawson, Sean Morahan, Bob Tuohy, and Cian McHale are among those rumoured to be signing up with McBride's, while Fenton Kelly and Conor Reid may be seen in the Parnells colours over the next few weeks.
It cannot be confirmed that Ryan O'Donoghue is also headed to McBride's, and he lined out with Belmullet against Parke on Saturday night.
It remains to be seen how many of these players will be playing in Chicago over the summer, given the fact that those who sign up now will not be available to play for their home clubs in the opening round of the senior or intermediate championships.
McBrides have particularly strong Mayo links with Kiltane's Alan Coyle, Kilmaine's Ger Doherty, Fintan Brophy from Castlebar Mitchels, and Joe Gardiner, a man with strong Tourmakeady links, in their ranks.
