Stephen Rochford, on his return as Mayo GAA manager, and the management team, have announced their squad to face Tyrone in the All Ireland Series Round 2 match this Saturday, May 31, at 7pm in O’Neills Healy Park Omagh.

Mayo and Tyrone have met on six previous occasions in the championship, with their first coming in the 1989 All-Ireland semi-final, and their most recent in the 2021 All-Ireland final.

Mayo have won 4 of those meetings in 1989, 2004, 2013 and 2016, while Tyrone were victorious in 2008 and 2021. Interestingly all six meetings were played in Croke Park.

Next Saturday evening, Mayo will play a championship game in Northern Ireland for the third time, following on from their 2007 loss to Derry in Celtic Park, and their 2019 victory over Down in Newry.

Stephen Coen will captain the team on the day.

The referee on the day is David Coldrick from Meath.
