A special meeting of Mayo County Board has been called for Monday night in Westport. The gathering in Knockranny House Hotel will be attended by GAA President Jarlath Burns and Director General Tom Ryan and all clubs are asked to send their club delegate accompanied by either the chairperson, secretary or treasurer.
The purpose of the meeting hasn't been made known in the communications sent to clubs however, it is likely the meeting will address issues around debt repayments on loans now held by the GAA and other matters.
The meeting is scheduled to get underway at 7.30pm
