Championship excitement in Mayo will be going up another notch today, as tickets for their opening-day Championship clash with Sligo are now on sale.
The Connacht Championship gets underway for Kevin McStay’s side in twelve days, and Mayo will be looking to hit the ground running when their neighbours make the journey from the foot of Ben Bulben to MacHale Park on April 6.

The last championship game between the two sides came four years ago, when Mayo won by 3-23 to 0-12 in Marcievicz Park in 2021.
The quarter-final throws in in Castlebar at 3 pm, and tickets can be purchased on Ticketmaster by clicking here.
Tickets are €5 for juveniles, €25 for the terrace, and €30 for the main stand.
